Spider Lies
by Emma

Please follow the link to Emma's amazing poem.  She put into words feelings and thoughts that I felt about narcissistic behavior.  My picture to go with her poem

By nature - they kill.

Your So Vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you....

Awesome, Ruth! That's fantastic - thanks so much for sharing that!!!

I like the 'gambled and lost' view; maybe they weren't purely malicious, just purely and utterly selfish. They were willing to risk us (PEOPLE! CHILDREN!) in their gamble (which is awfully inhumane), and that's what happened - we were lost.

We'd be fools to let them have us back just 'cause they were unhappy about losing us. They gambled us, our SELVES, away!

Natural consequences, right?

I am glad you enjoyed the poem. Totally self absorbed. I discovered that they are even baffled as why we do not want to serve them for life. Natural consequences and they are surprised.
